Hi,

This is my first post. My car is prepped with 2 coats of Autoglym EGP(24 hour wait between coats), the week before I had prepped the car with VM and then a coat of CMW . I wasnt to happy with the VM and CMW so I decided on trying EGP. What products could I use that are available in the UK to give a better wetter look?

I have the following items:-

AG SRP

AG EGP

VM & CMW

Megs Goldclass

Megs 3step

I'd like to thank all the people on the forum for all the info I have learnt and thanks to Alex @ Serious Performance for all his help.

i use autoglym products too, i'm not sure what VM and CMW are, but to achieve the best look, i layer on a natural carnuba wax (such as mothers calfornia gold carnuba wax) ontop of EGP.

you've got a new car, so you should be right without using any polishes right now. enjoy the forum and enjoy your detailing.

I got a great wet look on a blue Tiburon a couple weeks ago with GEPC, EX-P, and #16 (24hrs later).

It doesn't show much of the car, but you can see the wet look of the paint. Also note my neighbor's dog posing for the photo through the paint. :)

I'll have to get some more pictures of the car...the others I took didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. Maybe I'll throw another coat of #16 on there and take some more pics. I don't think she'd mind.
