[A John Deere tractor!]

A customer called to have us out again to wax his Expiditon XL and asked if we'd be willing to put Opti-Coat on something very different. He explained he recently had his John Deere tractor restored (except the wheels) and since the single stage paint seemed to be on the soft side, he hoped that Opti-Coat would help. The tractor won't be subject to normal use anymore, more for something fun for him to give rides to his grandkids.

The paint job wasn't perfect but neither was the factory paint in the early 80s on a lawn tractor. The top did need some polishing and OHP and a microfiber pad cleaned the soft paint up nicely.

ONR wash (no claying was needed)

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and my Porter Cable 7424 XP

ONR wash

Optimum Opti-Coat

Armor All on tires

Woolite/water cut 20:1 to clean the seat

You wouldn't believe what some guys put into there tractors. Could be s specialty business around here for sure! Great post.

LOL.....okay, I must admit I didn't Opti-Coat it, but I did polishign it out with the Megs MF system D300/D301. :D

I was selling it and bought a new one, which I had every intention of applying opti-coat, but now it's all scratched up from my stupid tree branches...

I detailed and Zaino'd my snowblower a few years back but you got me beat! That is one SHINY tractor!
