best wheel cleaner you have used

Trying to find a better wheel cleaner to use on my wheels. just wondering what the best wheel cleaner you have used is?
 
I just ordered Sonax full effect wheel cleaner. I have read nothing but great things about it. I've heard that Brown Royal was pretty good too.
 
What are you currently using?

Meguiar's Wheel Cleaner is strong but it can be diluted to lesson its strength however this does work well. This product should not be used on non painted or non coated wheels.

P21S Wheel Cleaners is a non acid cleaner and works nicely.

SONAX Wheel Cleaner
 
I've used 4star wheel cleaner, which is a spray gel type cleaner, for a while as needed, and it delivers good results.
 
I have two newer cars and the wheels have never gotten dirty. Soap and water work well. I strive to never have to use the harsh stuff.
 
1) Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner
2) P21S Gel
3) IronX Used in combo with 1 or 2

Just purchased a sample size of Megs Wheel Bright from ADS that I look forward to trying.
 
You really need to tell us what kind of wheels you have . Are they painted ,chrome ,Aluminum? (coated or bare?).

You can easily damage your wheels with some of the acid cleaners if your not careful, bare aluminum especially.

The best answer is to keep them so clean you dont need harsh cleaners. Then mild car soap is all you need >!
 
if you are doing your own car-I would use P21S Gel (Gold Box) to clean them up and then switch to car wash soap and water. If you keep them clean, it will be all you ever need. If you let them go, you will need wheel cleaner.

If you are doing other peoples cars that have been abused, Sonax FE and P21S should get you there. Also a good tar remover is key as wheel cleaners genreally don't remove tar.
