Hi everyone, i was wondering what is the best wax that i can ORDER by using my hand. I live in an apt and i have no way to an outlet. I have a white pearl Lexus IS350 if that help. I am looking for wetness look. In the past, i have use NXT and #26 combo but i want to try something different, stuff that i can order. Thank for everyone help... :thx

Do a search on "white" and look at some of the white vehicles in "Click and Brag" forum.

Assuming your paint was properly prepped I would have thought the NXT/#26 would have produced very good results.

When you say by hand, you mean literally, by hand? Or by using a foam applicator?

Almost all waxes can be applied by a foam applicator. You just need to find what suits you the best. Are you looking for durability or shine?

i am going to use foam applicator. i want shine and wetness. I can look up but most of the folks are using MACHINE to get the result. I am going to use a foam applicator, you get my point now lol......

"best" is pretty subjective as everyone have different opinions on what "best" to them would be.just try different waxes/sealants and see what you like "best".people use a machine just because its easier to apply a thin coat evenly.just dont expect out of this world results since you probably wont see much of a difference on a white car as opposed to darker colored cars.just make sure your paint surface is prepped well.

but going back to your question.ive had very good results by hand using natty's white and meg's #16 if you can still find some around at your local auto parts stores.if not then you can order some online.just have to look around.

I think werkstatt Prime Strong and AJT would work well..one of the more friendly for use by hand and tend to be on the more mirror-like side

Most waxes are pretty easy to apply, so wouldn't really necessitate a PC. Polishing's a different story though.

Are you sure there are no outlets? If you live in a large enough complex, then maybe there are facilities people that maintain the grounds? If so, then it's likely there's an external electrical outlet somewhere that they use. Get a big extension cord from Home Depot and your set.

Most people use a machine because that is what is required to get that special pop. Most folks on this forum will tell you that the "wax" accounts from 25% to almost down to 1% of the look. Like was mentioned #26 and NXT are great lookers. Some say they don't last as long as they like but very few question their looks. Those two points say that you need more prep work on the surface.

It dont matter if you apply a wax by hand or machine. The wax will give the same look and durability regardless of how it was applied.

Liquid- FMJ, easy to work with in limited shade...

S100, or PS21-- wipe on, wipe off...

all 3 give good optics to white.

You might even want to try AJT.. easy to use,and durable, from what I have read. I have not yet tried it myself.

FMJ was one of easiest sealants to use.

I have a white volvo. I love the nxt and #26 combo. I think it gives the 2nd best result. The best result in my opinion is definately FMJ. It is very easy to use and leaves a super slick car.
