Best Tar Remover For Wheels and Body Panels?

Just detailed a car that had tar EVERYWHERE I had a OTC product but it did not work as well as I would have liked.



Anyone have a recommendation of a awesome tar remover that will work on lower body panels and inside of the wheel barrels?

I have yet to get some myself, but Stoner's Tarminator looks like the ticket to me.

Stoner's Tarminator works alright, but the most efficient and powerful stuff is PrepSol which you can get from a paint shop as they use it for paint prep.

For OTC Stoners works great, you need to let it dwell and apply it to a cloth first.

Goof Off is very versatile. And, you can buy it in gallons. It eats through tar and paint transfers w/o damaging the finish. Plus, works great on fabrics too.
