Best Product To Use

Looking for you professional advice on what products to use on a silver car that brings out the best ie:polymer sealant and and wax and qd Thanks
 
good prep, good prep, good prep. then upp or zaino are my favorites. Then top with z8. If its my own car I may top with soughvran just to be doing something to it, but it doesnt need it.
 
AIO/UPP I love this combo on silver. Brightens the paint, and the metallic flake pop is insane!



I use quiksine as my QD. I don't top the UPP with a wax.
 
Ok I will try the AIO/Upp and then keep it up with quik shine what do you reccomend for wash and prep work .

its a 2006 only hand washed and its my own Thanks

Although silver will hide scratches, the scratches will hide the depth and true color. You still want to remove them if you want your car to look its best.

That said, buy a PC if you want the best results. Polishing by hand gives you uneven, sub-par results. I tried it once...then I ordered a PC about 30 minutes later. If you spent the money on a 2006, you can spend a little more for a PC to take care of it properly.
 
Ok Ill buy the PC what else do i need to order with it .Do i need the counterweight and what do i need for pads .Should i buy a certain kit that contains everything Thanks

Which pads you need depends on what kind of swirls/scratches you might deal with. If your car is in great shape already, and you don't plan on polishing other vehicles, you shouldn't need a yellow or orange pad. Just get a couple blues and a couple greens. Those will be the most frequently used ones. If you plan to apply LSPs (waxes/sealants) via the PC, you'll need a gray pad or two. I don't have any, because I prefer to apply LSPs by hand.
 
I like to use poorboy's Super slick + suds wash soap, a bunch of eurow bran sheepskin wash mitts, and a foam gun to wash. After washing, clay the car, remove swirls, and then do your AIO/UPP combo.
