Best Polish with log lasting fillers ?

I want to apply a sealant over a polish that contains fillers. ( do not have a PC and looking to hide my swirl marks ect). What polish / sealant combination would you suggest ?

Looking for a polish that has long lasting fillers !

Thanks

Perm-I'd use a polish with fillers, then a glaze, and then apply a heavy carnauba. I wouldn't trust a sealant to bond to all those fillers.

I'd choose from among these products:

Polish: 3M SMR for Light/Dark Vehicles, Meg's #9, (maybe) VM.

Glazes: Meg's #3/#5/#7/#81/Deep Crystal step#2, 3M IHG, Blitz Omega, ClearKote RMG.

Wax: Blitz, Meg's #16, Collinite 476S.

FWIW, I plan to use an approach like this on some of my older, original paint cars that can't take any more abrasive polishing. It will probably work better than you'd expect.

Many thanks for the advise. I agree with your concen over bonding issues with a sealant.

Megs is easier to get hold of in the UK so will look into Megs #9

I already have ClearKote RMG so the glaze is sorted.

Just need to pic a wax now.....

Do you think Megs #9 will have better filler than Nega NXT ? ( I have some nxt).

Thanks

Perm- Can't really say about the NXT as I've never even opened mine :o

See how the RMG works over the #9, you might find it better to use Meg's product for the glaze step too.

IIRC you folks across the pond can still get #16, and if so that would be my first choice for a wax.

Yep,

no VOC problem over here..........

to summarise

#9 -> RMG -> #16

or

#9 -> Megs glaze -> #16

Cheers

Not to take this off-topic, but why is that? I thought air-quality regs were catching up in Europe to what we have here in the US? Do you have less population density? Or is it simply that you folks think we are insane here for worrying about the VOC content of car wax, as some of us suggested when this first became an issue with #16 a year ago?

So far the whole VOC regulations do not seem to have caught up with Europe, yet. Maybe in manufacturing or similar there are various regs and rules but so far wax etc seems to be ok.

Perm, if you really want to hide the swirls, try the Omega Glaze & Blitz

Another option would be to use a fillerless SMR and then a pure sealant and top with EO NANOSPRAY and let that do the filling

Polish with Clearkote Vanilla Moose

Glaze with Clearkote Red Machine Glaze

Seal with FK1 Pink Wax

This combo hides for a while.
