Best polish for removing swirls? Here's my deal....

I have a 2001 millenium yellow Z06 and I typically use Pinnalcle's paint cleaner and then follow up with Souveran. Last year I tried some Meguiar's #9 then the Souveran which also worked well.

I'm looking for some advice on a possible better combo. I like the Souveran but was thinking of switching swirl removers. Any other really good polishes you can suggest? The car is garage kept and the paint is in better than showroom condition BUT I'm always lookign for that edge.

Here is a pic of last year

THANKS!

That looks great.

Pretty much all the products are going to give you a similar look - especially on paint that is in perfect condition.

You may want to try P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser, then a glaze (Mothers Sealer and Glaze is great), and whatever wax you like. Souveran is great from what I have read for garage kept cars.

If you are happy with what you are using now though, don't spend the money. You most likely won't beable to tell a difference.

Joe,

I would agree partly with adg44 in that since your paint is in such great shape you may not notice a eye popping difference if you switch polishes. The part I disagree with though is that there is not much difference between the Pinnacle Cleansing Lotion and the GEPC. So trying the GEPC will not give you anything more shine wise.

If I could suggest anything I would say try the Menzerna Final Polish and/or UPP.

I also agree. Just keep using the products you have now. You don't need Menzerna unless you need to remove some swirls, Pinnacle Cleansing Lotion couldn't remove.

Your Z06 looks very good, UPP will not look better than Souveran, it may last longer but that's all, IMHO.
