I am trying to buy a small electric Karcher pressure washer for light duty tasks around the house and garage. I seem to be having a heck of a time trying to find these. I have been to HomeDepot and numerous other outlets and have come up empty handed.

Any suggestions???

Thanks.

fenrir, thanks. Do you have to be a "member" at Costco to buy stuff there?

Which model did you purchase?

Yes you need to be a member. But it's only $25 a year. And they have some great deals. I'm not sure the model number but it's 1200 psi. I'll have to go out to the garage and take a look.

I ended up buying this unit: Karcher 330M at BJ's for $150. This thing absolutely rocks. I don't know why I didn't figure out long ago that I needed one of these things.;)

I purchased it to clean some stubborn spots under the hood of one of our cars. I haven't gotten to that particular task yet but have found all sorts of of other things that "needed to be cleaned". Too much fun.

The machine is electric so it's very quiet which I like. It is rated at 1400PSI and 1.6 GPM. It has two nozzles included. One super-duty cleaning head that I would never use near the car and a more traditional wand that offers variable pressure. That will work well under the hood.

You end up buying these things with a bit of apprehension since Home Depot offers models that start at $900 and are gas-powered. So, you wonder if this little electric washer's gonna do the job. It seems to be more than adequate and I am very satisfied so far. There are many optional wands that can be acquired should the need arise.;)
