Best *OTC* QD...

I tried using the advance search with the words "best qd" but it said that qd has too few letters. Then i tried with "best quick detailer but there wern't about OTC qd's. Sooooo.....







Whats's the *best* OTC quick detailer nowadays out of those available in local stores (that can aslo be used on carnauba)?



I've read that some QD's can't be used on top of a carnauba wax)

You're gonna get 100+ answers cause everyone has a favorite. Personally, I like Meg's NXT Speed Detailer just because it works well with the sealant I have been using. You best bet would be to go out and pickup a few and try them for yourself. See what works for you and what doesn't.

NXT Speed Detailer ( although I read about some streaking probs.)



I assume all 3 are carnauba comaptible, no?

They are all fine on carnauba waxes. The streaking issues with the NXT Speed Detailer were caused by the spray head, Meg's has changed the design to match what it puts on the regular qd bottles. Since I've been using the new bottle, I haven't had any streaking problems. Mother's qd is great, and wipe and shine is also great. Like I said before, go out and grab some and see what you like best.

I like Mother's Showtime, but I'll be trying out Long Haul stuff and will be getting a few bottles of truck gloss...I remember Scottwax recomending it!

Just picked some up and used it again today out in the sun after washing my F150. Great shine and slickness for the money. For the size and price its a great bargin for an OTC QD...:xyxthumbs

The best i have used is Showtime. Easy, no streaks, cool smell, good slickness, good gloss.

Same here. I've been using it on my Honda, which has NXT on it and the Speed Detail works well. For my Zainoed car, well, it gets Z6.



I used Meg's Final Detailer for years without any problems. Still have a bottle of it someplace.
