I did a quick search for walmart so forgive me if this was already posted.

Lets try something here.....

I shop online for my "professional products" but there has to be some Diamonds in the rough. Things worth trying or even great products found at your local wally world

Post what you would recommend from walmart. I'm always looking for products to add to my cleaning supplies, since I frequent walmart for other things I swing by the auto dept what kind of things would u suggest looking out for.

I'll Start.......

Eagle One Wheel And Tire Cleaner - It rocks, slightly expensive but very good.

Waffle Weave Micro Fiber Towels from the Housewares section.

Lets get this thread rolling.... Add your products you love from walmart! :woohoo:

I hate walmart with a passion and wouldn't do anything that would add a penny to their corporate coffers.

Same here. I've gone to Walmart a few times, but if buying OTC I'd much rather go to Carquest or Pep Boys, or even Target for that matter.

I love Walmart and have challenged myself to spend more to make up for your hate.:thx

Since the Walmart here in Cody,Wyoming is open 24/7, I can go there right now!

I purchase most of my detailing supplies from Wal-Mart, since I typically do my grocery shopping there. If I can't find something at WM, then I will try Pep Boys, O'Reilly, Autozone, etc. I just purchased some Zaino online, so I may do more shopping over the Internet. But for the time being WM has a pretty varied, reasonably priced selection for a weekend warrior like me.

Eurow sheepskin wash mitt

It's as good of a sheepskin mitt as you will find (if you sift through the ones on the shelf for an extra plush one). Excellent price too.

x2. I was just getting ready to say thats a good buy. Got mine around a month ago and it seems to be doing great. :D

Bleche white FTW!!

Wal-Mart is a great place to buy stuff. I got Meg PlasticX and weekly I would buy a pack of blue MF applicator pads for $1.67. I have so many of them now, it's not even funny.

I also get Dawn Power Dissolver for $2.06.

Most of my shopping is online (Cargeek, Autopia, 1Z-Usa), but I do occasionaly pick up a thing or two from Walmart or Target.

Walmart:

  • Mother's Back To Black
  • Mother's Mag cleaner/polish
  • Cheap $0.99 car wash for the wheels
  • MF towels for interior detailing
  • RainX

Target:

  • Stoner window cleaner
  • Brushes for tires and rubber floor mats

I know this is not a "I hate Walmart" thread, but I really despise the place, it's employees and it's customers (no offense). I prefer Target by far.

You can get NXT wash and NXT liquid or paste wax from Wal Mart. Just like mentioned above the Eurow sheepskin mitts are a good buy too.

Everyone is probably going to throw the book at me for this one, but green label Turtle Wax car polish. I don't use it on paint, but it cleans up filthy wheels better than clay, wheel cleaner, or finishing polishes for me. Great value at $2.50.

I haven't tried it yet, but my local store just started carrying Mother's clay kits for $13. Shame they got rid of the Meguiars foam applicators.

I usually get the cheap MF'S for the interior and dirty jobs for like $2-3 a pack. But I usually look for clearance stuff, since sometimes they have pretty good deals.

x2, but I think I bought enough before they sold out to last me the rest of my life. :rofl

This is what I pick up at Wally World.:secret

- Sheepskin mitts

- Microfiber sponge/mitt for lower panels

- Microfiber hand apps for wheels

- Invisible Glass

- Sandpaper for wetsanding

- Simple Green/Purple Power

- Armor All Tire Foam

- The microtex 25 pack of MF Towels for engine, tires, rims, and interior.

- Extra Spray bottles

- Bar & Tar Sponge

- Assortment of the BLUE/GRAY Long and & Short handle brushes.

I also pick up the 25 pack of MF towels at Sam's Club and I have tested each one with the CD test and none has left marring on it.:heelclick

Since I am not mobile and can take as long as I'd like... I also picked up this little red vacuum/blower for like 20 bucks. It does the job wonderfully.:woot:
