Best microfiber for black paint?

SO many microfibers to choose from, but what is the softest to use (removing polish/wax) for jet black paint.

Concours Buffing Towel? since it's the most expensive?

The CBT/DF Towels are *very* soft, you won't go wrong with them. But plenty of other MFs are plenty soft enough too...the Monster Fluffy is a pretty amazing towel, just *so* thick, soft, and, well, fluffy. My PakShak MFs are also soft enough that I wouldn't hesistate to use them on the softest black lacquer.

agreed. there are soooo many quality mf's out there, that it just comes down to personal preference (one may like what the other don't). i personally like the viking quick detailing & cobra super plush microfiber towels. i have plenty other that are just as nice, but find myself using those most often.... :2thumbs:

Is there a big difference in "good" MF and a "not so good" one? I've never run accross a bad one.

Oh yeah...and lucky you, not running into any bad ones!

Bad ones can really :hairpull Everything from excessive linting to causing marring. I use some pretty crappy ones around the house but I don't let 'em near the vehicles.

Monster fluffy is a beaut and also the new pakshak towels are really soft and non linting

Not yet tried the CBT from autopia - is that the same as leo's towel

Yeah, they're the same. Nice, but quite different from, say, the Monster Fluffy. Not *IMO* better/worse, just different.
