For 2013, what are you mobile guys looking into doing for mobile detailing business advertising...

and what are you fixed location owners looking to do for growth through 2013?

What is changing for your advertising methods for the new year?

Since I went back to mobile, Adwords and Bing Ads have been awesome. Was not the case when I wax fixed location for some reason. Also going to get a wrap or large decals on my truck as a rolling ad. I plan to start networking more with other types of shops and try to cross market each others services. I've found a couple community specific print publications I'm going to run a couple ads in, not traditional news print, but small targeted publications I know those people read. Going to try putting up some lawn signs at major intersections in town where I see others doing the same thing.

Mostly what he said plus a couple of extra things. Not going to reveal it on here though because of a local competitor. :cool1:

I would love to have our van either partially wrapped or graphics installed. We have a new logo and mobile advertising is awesome! Plus the van looks cool!

Fixed location here. I've really ramped up the social media, print, e-mail and adwords campaigns. I'm looking this week at buying another vehicle for the business since we need a second shop car and will most likely end up with a cargo van that I'll wrap. I used to have a cargo about 10 years ago but sold it because we weren't driving it much but the amount of advertising recognition we got out of it was huge. Should have never sold it.

here.. my best form of advertising , worth every penny.

Call John Kleven at Metropolitan Detail in Washington. He now offers that service. He may be able to provide the printed media for you to install yourself.

God knows wraps are expensive as hell here.

Awwww yeah. Got the van on Friday and tinted the windows. Looking at having the cargo area floor, running boards and rear bumper coated in Line X, alarm/remote start and navigation are being installed this week and am working on a vinyl graphics package right now with my designer. I'm stoked about this project

Here's a pic after we finished the tint

Thats enough space to put out on the street when you have the cars at the shop instead of mobile!!! lots of advertising space!!

Mobile is a secondary thing for us - the main component is the advertising aspect of it. Most likely will be replacing my daily driver with a new pick up truck if I can sell it and brand it to advertise the shop as well. Just an FYI for anyone looking to build their facebook audience - I started a facebook ad campaign that was approved yesterday and already gained around 20 new likes from it in less than 24 hours. Campaigns are similar to google adwords in the way you set them up and it's pretty cheap. Worth looking at.
