Best for bugs: PBs Bug Squash or Pinnacle Safe Scrub?

Been reading threads on these two products and both seem to be highly recommended. Looking to see if anyone has had the opportunity to use both and hear your thoughts on them. I'm particularly interested in removing bugs from the front bumper and tar/grime on the rocker panel behind the wheels. My thought process is to do this while washing the car and not worrying about stripping/removing my LSP as that will be applied afterwards.

have only tried the Poorboys but I will tell you it does have a pretty strong cleaner type smell so I wouldn't be surprised if it stripped some waxes or LSP's, at least to some extent. not sure, but the stuff does work pretty well.

BOTH!

Bug Squash diluted 3:1 is not supposed to remove your LSP.

I soak the safe scrub sponge in warm soapy water for about 10 minutes to soften it before using it on the paint.

Poorboy's Bug Squash is a nice general purpose cleaner. Diluted it is safe for LSP and full strength good for general paint safe cleaning. I am sure there are other cleaners that can do this but they do not market them.

Duragloss and Chem Guys have similar products.

Griots bug smudge remover I used it last weekend after ride. I sprayed it on let it set and used mitt and water and of it came. Of course there was a good coat of wax on bumper also :)

Have you ever tried spraying that area with WD40 and letting it dwell prior to washing.....?

Getting them off the surface right away helps protect your paint from the enzymes that could etch your clear coat.....
