Best digital tire gauge

Hi, I am looking for a good digital tire gauge. In the past I have purchased one, not a cheap one, from Griot's Garage but it's readings are never consistent. The readings vary too much to be accurate. Has anyone had any luck with finding a good one? Thanks.

Take a look at your local Taget. Ipurchased a accutire digital tire gauge for $14 and it is very good and consistant.

I found one at my local BJ's Works well however for some people, they may like one that has a separate "hose" to get into tight places.

Same as this one:

I do not know if you are dead set on digital. I bought a good quality analog (round face) gauge from Sporty's Aviation Supply. It's well made, perfectly calibrated and has worked without fail for the last 8 years.

For a practical gauge? I prefer analog. Accu-Gage Tire Gauges

I've seen a couple of comprehensive reviews on tire gages and the whiz-bang digitals always score the lowest. The best gage appears to be the Bourdon Tube type, listed above. The old $2 pencil style also faired very well.

I've got gages of all three types and can confirm the digital one is the most inaccurate. My unit came from Tire Rack, it's off by 2 - 3psi.

I've been using the AccuGage units for 10 yrs or so. They don't do well when dropped. AccuGage seems to offer a free lifetime calibration of their gages. They're very good.

I think you can buy AccuGage, a cheaper one, at Advance Auto Parts. They have a very broad range of designs and chuck styles.
