One of my good friends is about to get a Toyota Celica (Black) and I was going to attempt to detail it for him. I don't have a PC.
So can you guys help me with the products I need to get?
As of now, all I have is Chenille Wash Mitt, Meg's Gold Class Shampoo, SIG, MF's, NXT Wax, Armor-all(should I use this?), The Absorber, Chrome Polish, and Coverall Tire Dressing. What else do I need to get...I can't afford a PC because I am 17 with no job. LOL

It is a 2000 model if that helps anyone.

I would highly suggest getting a clay bar and using it on the '00 Celica. It'll make a world of difference . It'll get all the crap out of paint and you'll get that smooth feeling again. polishing by hand is a big job .Try meg's ColorX then your NXT wax ..good luck .

Think about charging in the future when you feel comfortable with your skills so you can get a PC and cut your time way down with better results..

I agree with the claybar for sure! Go to your local auto store and get the Mothers claybar/QD/wax combo for about $17. Great price and product. Then the color X and your wax.

I'd use the ArmorAll as a paper weight. I hate that crap! ;)

Check around for a used PC. You can get into one for a good price and you'll be hooked once you start. Do some searching on here and you'll learn all you need to know. Whatever you cant find, ask. Good luck!

I'll add another vote for the ColorX & the clay. You might want to try topping the ColorX with a carnauba for added warmth on the black. There's places to get decent carnauba locally for a good price, especially if you have a motorcycle (Harley) shop nearby.
