Best Cleaning QD?

Hi guys Im looking to find the QD that offers the best cleaning ability w/o marring. Ive read all the stuff on FK425 but it seems to me that is more of a protectant than a cleaner.

Im looking for something to remove things like water spots, dusting and the daily stuff that seems to accumulate on my car.

The only option I have is parking under a tree or next to sprinklers :aww: so i need something to just spray and clean daily. It must be very lubricating, non streaky, and have the best cleaning ability. Thanks guys!

I have read that the Spray Wash from Jeff Werkstatt works well, although I can never find their website. I have been using Adams for some time now and I use it because it doesn't streak.

Good look,

In a true QD, I would recommend Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection. There are also products like Poorboy's Spray & Wipe that are a little more than a QD.

I would reconsider using a QD if your surface is dirty unless you used a spray that was specifically designed for waterless cleaning.

can you elaborate on this? I thought QD was for light duty cleaning/ wax boosting. Is there a difference between this and waterless cleaning?

Waterless cleaning = washing the car with the product only, no water. Most QDs are not designed for this.

I had the same problem too until i found out that the name is actually "jeffS werkstatt", there's an S after Jeff. Put that into Google and it comes as the top search result.

If you already have 425 I would recommend 146 as a very good cleaner.

I use it after No Rinse. Leaves a nice slick finish and inhibits dirt, something I'm not

sure others can claim. I know some people are skeptical but I firmly believe its not

bunk. I've used many qd's over the years and this is the first time I've noticed the paint

staying this clean this long. I've sandwiched Duragloss Aqua Wax in betwee 146 and 425.

All three are cheap, can be bought by the gallon and give excellent looks.

I'm going to try sandwiching Optimum car wax spray when the Aqua Wax runs out to see

which is more durable OCW or AW.

Poorboy's Spray and Wipe hands down. It's not really considered a QD but will not only clean without marring but the results will be just as good as a QD (as long as surface is cared for). I wouldn't trust a QD for cleaning when you can buy Poorboys Spray and Wipe.
