Best Carpet Cleaner?

What product for auto carpet cleaning would be a great choice? I will be using a carpet extractor also(Aztec). Some brand names I have read about includes 303 Carpet cleaner, Chemspecs Express Lane, Matrix and Prochems. Suggestions?

TOL Rug Renew is very good. It can be dilluted as a spotter and also for use in an extractor. Hi-Temp's Premium Carpet and Upholstery Shampoo is great for extractors.

GSRstilez turned me to Folex a while back. This stuff beats my 303 spot cleaner by leaps and bounds. Stains just seem to melt away when it's applied. Awesome stuff, I recommend it.

Both get my vote too.

I use Automagic HD Carpet Cleaner. You can buy a gallon for under $20.00 and it gets dilluted. I mix about 2 oz in a gallon of water and I also have a heavily concentrated mixture in a spray bottle. It also has a mild almond smell.

Fellas, I know you won't believe this, but a company called Mirachem has a very good APC called NOW. In our home carpet shampoo machine, my wife uses it full strength in the detergent fill basket. When I use it on my car's carpeting, I dilute it 50%.

This stuff is low-sudsing, which is important for our home shampoo machine. Too many suds = potential for pump failure. But what do y'all care about that? This stuff WORKS. It gets up kid stains (IOW, everything). Even diluted for auto use, it removes grease and oil from my carpeting with little trouble. I just spray, brush, and wipe.

NOW can also be used as an APC for upholstery and dash. Last year, when I cleaned my garage floor, it had no trouble removing years of oil that had leaked from my old luxo-boat turned luxo-bomb.

Sam's Club, back in the day when they were called PACE, used to sell this product. When Sam's Club took over, they discontinued the product, and my wife was devastated. So I searched the Internet and found the Mirachem web site. We generally buy a 4-gallon case that will last us a year. (We've got grandkids, so we go through a LOT of product.)

The only problem is, their web store sucks. When you place an online order, it never processes. So you may have to call their toll-free number for assistance. Just tell them you tried to order from the web site, and they'll let you have the NOW cleaner at the online price. It's a hassle, yeah, but worth it.

I got a PM from someone who wanted a sample of NOW. I called Mirachem (number is below) and discovered:

They offer a 3.75 oz. sample of "MiraClean Professional APC", which the lady said is the industrial version of NOW. You can call them at 1-800-847-3527, or go to Mirachem's home page www.mirachem.com , click on "Order A Sample", and fill in your information. When you get to the box that says "Please select the product you would like to sample * ", select "MiraClean Professional APC - All Purpose Cleaner", which is the 4th selection from the bottom.

Now I was assured by the lady on the phone that MiraClean and NOW are the same product chemically. For advertising reasons, they use one name for industry and another name for consumers. ????

Anyway, if you order some, I'd love to hear about your cleaning experience with this product.
