Best bet on MF towels?

I find myself with all new or repainted cars now and have decided that I should do a better job taking care of them. I am starting by getting rid of my "bad" detailing supplies and replacing them with good stuff. One area that I am having some trouble with is the MF towels. I plan to mainly use the towels for drying and buffing. Does someone carry a good variety pack of towels? I had been using some cheap towels and got some NICE ones with my PC and am amazed by the difference.

I searched on this and found myself more lost than when I began. Any help is appreciated.

thanks for the quick replies. Pak Shak is one that I heard several people suggest. I will take a look at that, as well as the other links. I think the ones that came with my PC are Cobras.

i would go with excel detail. HAve some of the best all around mf kits and better prices than pakshak. ANd i promise, unless you live in Hawaii, that excel's products will get to you couple of days(at least) before pakshak.

Check out the Monster Fluffy MF towels from Detailer Paradise. Going to go by the store (brick and mortar store is local for me) and pick some of these up.
A quick question....with the half inch fiber length in this towel, do you have any snagging problems on things like badges and the like? My DF CBTs are quite long fibered and I have to be careful about this. Thanks

I am yet to try excel but have been in contact with the owner and even from the pics, they look really good

Currently have pakshak and clearkote 13 by 13 inch

the yellow and gold ck's are really soft, I enjoy using those

Have also got some DF towel wash mitts on the way. I have one which I will begin using today

The mitt is massive and I like the cuff, much softer than others.

Will be ordering cobra purple WW dry towels as well

Pakshak are the best I've tried so far out of quite a few, I hope to order more soon, my first order woes are being us now. :up

I haven't had any problems with mine. Really nice towel, super absorbent!

I've received great service from both Pakshak and Excel.

I have not tried PakShak but I have received nothing but excellent service from Exceldetail, and I will continue to order stuff from him.

In reference to the Monster Fluffy towels, I have not used them yet, so I have no idea if they will snag or not. I was going to go pick some up on the way home from work, but the person that I was giving the ride to, and doing her car tomorrow, wanted to get home, even though she told me half an hour before that going 45 minutes out of the way was not a problem. What a fricken flake that one is, and I was going to use them on HER car.....

Pakshak are the best I've tried so far, which is a shame because after the way I was treated by them I will never order from them again.

Wow, what happened?! I've never had anything but excellent service from Ranney.

Oh, and BTW, GTScott, IMHO the "Rolls Royce" of microfibre towels come from DF Motorsports. Wonderful product!

In response to questions about Detailer Paradise Monster Fluffy: I bought the three pack because I've ordered from them before and trusted their product description. They do not snag on trim because the fibers are not 1/2 inch long. 1/4 more like it. This is the thickest towel because it is not "a" towel, it is actually two towels sewn together. If you pick one up and lightly pull from each side, it is obvious. Yes it is soft and works well, but two sewn towels is not the same as a thick towel. It seems Detailer Paradise has joined the BS bandwagon.

I won't openly discuss my personal dealings with Pakshak, but my first ever order was wrong, but I did get a free MF towel in the box! :D

I have spoken further with Ranney and everything has been sorted out, so I am happy again and will place further orders with Pakshak! :bigups

That's great Robdon, I have never dealt with a nicer man than ranney, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have half the stuff I've got and not be doing what I am today.

Just ordered from Detailers Paradise, I'll always give any brand a go once and so far 99% have been great. Can't stand people who criticize products without even trying them or did once but didn't contact the owner/supplier for proper useage instruction when the product didn't work as they wanted.

Trust me there are alot worse mf's around than all of the brands listed above

I believe that no one brand makes the best of every type of product

I have lots of MF products from http://www.exceldetail.com and they are all top-notch products. Patrick is a great guy to deal with, and the true shipping prices he charges are great. I've still yet to find any other place that refunds extra shipping money.

I've had great service from Ranney Pak. They are among the best service firms in detailing in my experience.

I also like Patrick's ExcelDetail. Pakshak fiber is better however.

There are a ton of great vendors out there. My vote goes to Rob at Winner's circle. His towels come tagless at a great price.
