2009 Bentley Continental GTC. Regular customer, we started taking care of it last fall, I believe this is the 3rd time he's had us detail it. Other than being pretty dirty, it wasn't too bad. He travels a lot so he doesn't put a lot of miles on it.

Exterior

ONR wash, Opti-Raser clay sponge

3D HD Speed using an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and my PC 7424 XP

Optimum Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/fenderwells

Interior

Woolite/water cut 20:1 to clean leather

3D Carpet Shampoo cut 16:1 to clean carpets

Optimum Protectant Plus on the door panels and dash (they are leather but high exposure areas so we use a protectant on them)

Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner on the leather

Parking is extremely limited at these condos, 7 spaces for guests with something like 40 condos. The housekeeper's truck was parked behind the Bentley, so we couldn't pull it out-not that it would matter, nowhere to put it where it wouldn't be in the way.

2010 Ford Edge. A customer of mine had this done for his mother, its a belated mother's day gift. Not a whole lot of miles on it but they'd been out to east Texas and drove back at night so the front end was caked in bugs.

Exterior

Optimum Power Clean diluted 3:1 sprayed on bug caked areas, then washed as usual with ONR

ONR wash, Opti-Raser clay sponge

3D HD Speed using an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and my PC 7424 XP

Optimum Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/fenderwells

Interior

Woolite/water cut 20:1 to clean leather and vinyl

3D Carpet Shampoo cut 16:1 to clean carpets

Optimum Protectant Plus on the vinyl

Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner on the leather

2009 Infiniti G37. Owner has decided to trade it in and needed it cleaned up. His main complaint was sap, which turned out to be impressions from leaves that had apparently sat on the trunk lid and part of the hood for a long time. When I arrived, I saw the areas in question, plus it was obvious the passenger side had been repainted (most of it was orange peel free, not normal for an Infiniti, plus there was overspray inside the gas door and passenger side door jamb and a ton of orange peel right around the door handle) which also explained why the car was covered in rotary swirls...and why the owner was able to pick it up for cheap when they bought it. He wasn't looking for perfection, just wanted it to be presentable for trade in a few weeks.

Should have taken pics of the leaf impressions, use your imagination, I guess. Got shots of the swirls though...

After an ONR wash and Clay Magic blue (needed something more aggressive than the milder Opti-Raser)

The leaf impressions laughed at Meguiars #105 and a Meguiars microfiber cutting disc using my PC 7424 XP...but they weren't laughing when I switched to an American buffing foamed white wool pad on the DA! Left some obvious hazing but really ripped through both the leaf impressions and swirls. Fast too.

Meguiars D300 using a Meguiars microfiber cutting disc and my PC (to remove hazing from the wool pad)

Meguiars D301 Finishing Wax using a Meguiars microfiber finishing pad

Armor All on tires/fenderwells

Great work as always Scott.

One question, is there a reason you use the Meguiar's leather conditioner over the Opt Protectant Plus for the leather seats?

Thanks!

The goal for the seats is to keep them as soft and supple as possible, so I prefer to use a conditioner rather than a protectant.
