Before Zaino

I just got my new vehicle in January and have checked it for swirls and such and there is a few on it but not very many but there is a few on the hood. The color is Dark Shadow Grey Metallic. And I am going to be applying Zaino to this vehicle.



I have to choose from:

Menzerna IP

Menzerna FP

1Z Paint Polish

1Z Metallic Polish

SSR1

Megs #9



I plan on following this step with AIO. Is this a good idea?

Also was thinking Z-5x3 saturday z-5x3 sunday Z-2x3 monday then nextweekend Z-5x3 and Z-2x3 and then maybe top it with a carnuba to add some depth and wetness to it. Would this be enough Zaino before topping it so that the Z will lasy about 4 months under the topper?



Also can I just do a dawn wash to remove the topper and then reapply more Zaino if I need it? Or should I just use AIO and strip everything and start over after topping it?



Or since I want to top it would I be better going with something like Wolfgang? UPP? SG?
 
There's no need for 15 coats of Zaino. Do 3 coats of Z5 one day, and 3 of Z2 the next, and that will be MORE than enough. I usually think 2x Z5 and 2x Z2 is sufficient. From what I hear, 1Z Paint Polish works really well as far as reducing swirls. Mine will be arriving Monday, so I'll let you know how it is.
 
I would say use Paint Polish to try and remove the swirls....but since you already have MenzernaFP which has no fillers in it....if you like the was MenzernaFP works, I would just use that instead of AIO....after FP you could then go directly to Zaino.....



And if you want to remove the topper you can do a dawn wash then add more coats of Zaino....

No need for any other products, if you are using Zaino. Don't worry about topping it or anything ( I saw no changes). I wouldn't use Z2 on a dark color.

Basically what I did ^^^^ I threw in a Dawn wash after the FP just to be safe then Z2 X 3 for gloss. I just ordered #16 today and I will top it tomorrow with it.



ZaneO's program is good .. I tried it on black .. looks a lot like you get from aio/SG.
