Just wondering:

What product to use
Do you charge additional

And as I side note; After a month of getting my shop ready, if I never saw another paint brush or roller, it'd bee to soon :wall

I usually slide a jack under the front end to elevate it, spray it with APC and scrub with a soft long bristle brush, then power wash. They always turn out great.

That's pretty much my method as well, but I've never done the jack under the front end.

You really can't hurt LineX/Rhino Liner with much.

I only do it if its a plastic liner or if the spray in liner clogged the drain holes. The plastic ones are like a bath tub and hold every drop.

True. I usually either broom the water out, use the leaf blower to force it out, or just go around the block with the tailgate down depending on the situation (customer truck vs. my personal truck, etc.)

So no product like back to black, etc. after cleaning?

I wouldn't recommend one of the typical "dressing" type products for that purpose; it will leave the bed slippery and that's no good.

If that stuff Todd posted works well on plastic liners it'd probably be fine, but I question if it would work on the spray-in liners as well if at all....

I've had my Rhino liner in since the truck was new in 03 and never done anything but sweep it out and then run the hose over it and it still looks good. I don't know about anyone elese, but I don't want my liner all shiney.

SONUS Trim & Motor Kote works very well also on these bedliners. I don't do many but have use it and work very well.

I include it in the detail when doing trucks. No up-charge to the customer. Remember that customer satisfaction is number one in keeping them.

Seems like a bed liner would require a lot of product. That's why I asked if there was an up-charge.

That depends on your business model, although I am a firm believer in not doing anything for free. You could include it in the cost of your truck detail or charge additionally.

Also a little Forever Black goes a fairly long way.

Islide a floor jack under the front end of the truck and spray it with a APC and scrub it with a soft bristle bruchand then use a hot water steam gun they turn out great

I usually dress bedliners. I always ask first if they want it and tell them it may be a little slippery . I especially worry abour dogs and ask if they have dogs that will be riding in the back .

Some beat up really dirty plastic bedliners dont look good or even clean if you dont dress them.

I tack on an extra hour for bedliners but just include in the estimate .

Some customers dont even want their bedliners cleaned they are full of so much junk and I will take money off for not doing them also.
