Beading Pictures - Update

I just thought I would update those interested with some beading pictures of my girlfriends 4Runner. It was last detailed the beginning of January: http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49157&highlight=4Runner

Since then, it has received approximately 6 car washes using Z6 afterwards, and last week I applied one coat of Z8.

It rained today, and I snapped a few pictures of the beading.

This car may be going away soon as a 2005 Z71 Tahoe will be picked up on Monday...it's sad and happy all at the same time.

Awesome, You will love the Tahoe, except detailing the roof. If you into modding the tahoe either lowering or lifting I can direct you to some really good sites and give you some good suggestions.

My mom has a Yukon, so I'm pretty familiar with detailing those cars.

The modding will be limited initially...it already has navigation and DVD and the windows are getting tinted next weekend. The first "mods" will most likely be an intake and some BFGs.

If you have some money left over the best mod I put on mine was some Xenarcs. They are a full HID conversion including new housings and It just blows away stock headlights. You should really enjoy. Mine hasnt let me down yet, on or offr oad

always a treat to see your pics zane,

how's that camaro treating you ??? mine will be getting the royal treatment monday or tuesday :bow

Have you had any problems with the spots etching (minor) the clear when the sun comes out? It seems that when I use waxes/selants that bead really tightly in the summer I always get etching. AIO will remove the etching, but I have almost moved away from theses LSP's for this reason.

Gav - the Camaro is alright. I try not to do much with it.

ebp - I have never experienced etching from anything except bird bombs and water sprinklers. My experience is that once the water collects some, it runs off the vehicle. If there isn't enough moisture to cause it to run off, it usually just leaves water spots in the dirt/dust and comes off with no problems with a wash.

P.S. This particular vehicle is single stage, but the above experience is for both SS and B/C.
