auctioned off the new 2017 NSX. A Maroon Red VIN 001 sold to racing owner (and Honda Dealer) Rick Hendricks.

Anyone else see this on Velocity?

Car looked fabulous in HD, under camera lights and sporting a super-gloss that looked like nothing that I've ever seen before. Too bad its MSRP starts at ~$157K+.

Lots of GM cars but few European autos. Corvettes, Burt Reynolds, John/Courtney Force and Jay Leno were prominent. But the '17 NSX stole the show I thought.
 
I always watch the auctions. I was a big fan of the Meecum auctions. With Meecum it was more about the cars, Barrett-Jackson seems to always be promoting something. Just saw Burt Reynolds and a Bandit Trans-Am. The car sold for half a mil! Way too much for a Trans-Am.
 
I live walking distance to the B-J show here in Scottsdale. Never been there for the show. I've got to make time next year.
 
Here is a picture of the Hendricks car. I was right next to him when he bid. Was awesome.

It's a pretty sweet looking car. Love that the proceeds go to a good cause. Those old NSX's are one of those cars that just have a timeless design. They're always gonna look good and turn heads
 
They had a bit on that car earlier in the week. I'm pretty sure they said the winning bidder would get to chose the paint color and they'd attach VIN #0001 to that car.

The red looked great on TV. I think that car's going to be a big hit for them !
