Bad Combinations

greetings autopians:



we all have good advice to share with auto enthusiants thru knowledge and experience. i have a "cheat sheet" of different combinations of cleaners, glazes and waxes. but now i ask you to share what are some bad combinations you've done or seen and are willing to share with others, so we don't make the same mistakes!!!!!!!!!!! thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on the glaze though...supposedly CG EZ Creme Glaze can be topped with a sealant.



General rules:



1. Carnaubas over sealants, but never sealants over carnaubas

2. See above
 
I didn't realize you can't apply a sealant over a glaze...I have seen numerous posts where people use RMG and put a sealant over that...or CK VMG and put UPP over it...why can't u put a sealant over a glaze?
 
well you have to differentiate a true sealant from a synthetic wax/synthetic blend- from my understanding a synthetic wax such as NXT, Mothers RTC, EX and others can go over glazes.

My question: I ordered some Wolfgang finishing glaze and was wondering if P21s can go over it? I am gonna be doing my friends black vw this sunday and will be using SFX 1-3 on it and then a glaze after and then p21s.

Yes, it will be fine because it is a carnauba.
