Funny, I felt like the car was "finally" getting washed after dealing w/coin-op washes...C'mon SPRING. [/b]</blockquote>Mid 60's in Omaha yesterday, about 60 today. Z7 wash and 2 layers of ZFX/Z5 (3 passes with Z6 - before, between, and after) yesterday, vacuumed interior and dressed tires and exterior plastic today. Too bad snow and cold weather are in the forecast for the rest of the the week . . . oh well, she looked purty today, at least :D

Not to be an echo, but . . . C'mon SPRING!

That's what I did. (Before the Rams game, of course! Go Rams!)

Yep, broke it all out. Clayed on Friday evening, 3M SMR with PC,

Dawn wash, and 3 coats of Z5 w/ZFX on Saturday. Sunday, 3 coats of Z2 w/ ZFX and Z6 between.

I still have to wax the rims, and detail the interior. I like to remove the trim panels and use an extractor to make sure and get all the gunk that makes its way under the trim and into the crevice. Mabe next weekend...

For a day of detailing here too. Today it got up to 65*, so I washed and applied my first coat of Blitz over Zaino. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be in the 70's so I'm gonna help a relative detail his truck with Liquid Glass.

:bounce

It was 62 here today. I went out and spent about 30 mins cleaning some stuff out of the garage to make way for a few new cabinets i bought this week.

yep, broke it all out...... got some mighty strange looks from people driving by the house as I was out in the driveway..... one guy rolled down his window and yelled "what the hell do you think you're trying to pull! thats making all of us with our salt covered cars feel bad! you suck!"

made me laugh...... but all I responded was "hey buddy, atleast my car is gonna last thru the winter instead of rusting apart at the seams!"

 :bounce

I did i didnt do a thorogh job tho. I am going to wait till spring to do a total detail job. Undercarage and all. And plus the water outside is shut off and i didnt wana turn it on again then hook up the hose ect.

It was nice and warm this week here in Southern New England..come to think of it, it has been pretty mild all winter! I've washed the vehicles a few times at home so far this winter, ands they both get done regularly at the firehouse.

I washed the F-150 in the driveway Saturday afternoon and brought the Jeep to the firehouse today. I cleaned the interior, washed and dried the Jeep before the start of the AFC Championship Game (the Patriots beat the Steelers WOOHOO!!!!) and did final detailing after the game.

both Saturday and Sunday. Funny thing is, after the wash on Saturday, I did everything else in the garage, even though it was beautiful outside (65-70). The wind was blowing pretty good, so there was just too much dust and debris flying outside.

Well, I had the Maxima washed and waxed before the warm weather hit. The guys at the detail shop told me that they love to see my car coming because it is the easiest car to clean. :D
Saturday, I took my car in to the Nissan dealer to have the oil and tranny fluid changed. As is the norm, they offered to wash my car and I declined due to the fact I am loving my Klasse/Souveran combo.

:xyxthumbs

But of course I did! Of course, now we're supposed to get snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is the weirdest part of the country. :D

It was beautiful here in the Phila area (Mid 60's) . I had the 300ZX out of the garage and cleaned it up to get ready for some shows. Also took the wife's 4Runner out for a nice wash and quick detail. ..

Next nice weather I will work on the F150...

Lake Country website part # for 6" backing plate is 43-148DA.

The 6" backing plate at PAC (where I plan to buy my PC and pads) does have an item # FBP-6DA, and I cannot find this item # at the LC website.

Are these pads the same? Thanks.
