Back After A Long Time

Hello to Everyone!

I joined a long time ago, but have not been on the forums for a long time (not that I was a very active poster back then).

We sold the 2000 M Roadster about five years ago and picked up a 335i convertible. The M Roadster was a great car for day trips and my wife and I could do an overnight trip with it, but storage was too limited for full weekend trips. The 335i filled that role a little better.

We recently sold the 335i and now have a new Jeep JLU Rubicon!

Unfortunately, however, I also joined the thundering herd of white SUVs.

To make a long story bearable, I`m back and looking for the collective wisdom of how to bring the best out of a white vehicle.

Roadster J- Welcome back!

Gee, that`s a big switch from the Bimmers to a Rubicon!

IME white vehicles are very easy to keep up to Autopian standards, I still miss my last one.

Since "clearcoat is clearcoat no matter what it`s over top of"...just decontaminate thoroughly, correct as if it were black, LSP with FK1000P. Then just keep it clean and rewax before it really needs it. Any reasonable marring oughta be so hard to see that it probably won`t need another correction for many years (I don`t think I`ve ever had to do more than one correction on a white vehicle no matter how long I had it).
