baby wipes?

I know its kinda an odd question but I noticed something the other day. I had the baby with me while I was driving around and had a dirty diaper :soscared: . lol anyways I pulled out one to many wipes while changing the kiddo and when I went to throw the diaper in the trash stuck an unused wipe in my wheel spokes. When I came back and pulled it out the brake dust was GONE. Wiped right off with ZERO effort.



my question is - do you think these unscented baby wipes can harm paint/wheel clear coat. Cause if not that is the easiest way to clean wheels I have found yet
 
There was a guy on my tundra website that washes his whole truck with em, I just said if that works for you then go for it, and just walked away from that one.

i laugh whenever i go through the car care section at wal-mart and they have towels labeled as "Baby diapers"

LOL so true! I use them in the car when one of the kids spills something on the seats or drops a lolly pop or something sticky. It cleans leather real well. I don't use them on a regular basis just in a pinch. The only downside is the smell! I creates diaper changing flashbacks for me... the horror, the horror.

you have a pretty interesting fact. i may try those. :)
 
just did a whole wheel with three of them, and it was COVERED with track pad brake dust. No water, no scrubbing just wiped and clean. You can get like 600 of them at walmart for $8. That is alot of cleaned wheels lol
 
I always carry some in the trunk for the bird dropping. Works great. Haven't tried on wheels, but now I'm going to.
 
I keep some in the glovebox, but mostly for situations where maybe you or a passenger gets grease on his/her hands or something like that. Never occurred to me as a good emergency cleaner!



Simple ideas that slip me by... :sigh:
 
Yep, I keep them in my vehicle too for wiping my hands off and such.



They also work great at cleaning your steering wheel. Gets all the embedded dirt and oil right off.
