Ok, guys i had the chance to try Clearkotes new cutting cream.
*before i post about it, I want everyone to know that I am not getting any cut backs from clearkote in any way. I was sent this product to try and give feedback that is all. I dont want anyone to think i have any business relationship with clearkote. *
I had a 94 bmw 5series to do. I was extremly oxidized and needed some tender loving car with a rotary. PC would not even come close to working.
I thought this would be a great chance to try out the cutting cream from clearkote.
The prodcut is a little think, so it was hard to spread until you get
used to it. At first i squeezed way to much out.
I had the rotary set on speed 3 (1500rpm) with one pass i saw a difference right away. the oxidation was removed and the paint was white again. I did the entire 1/4 panel with no effort. It even look polished when i was done. I then took quick shine and wiped down the 1/4 to remove any excess prodcut and it looked amazing.
Next i tried 3m perfect it III compound. This also worked very well but would not remove as easy. When i was done, it still needed to be polished.
Meg's diamond cut. this stuff worked as well, but was hard to remove and very messy. was not as thick as the 2 above.
after i used the other 2 products, i stepped back and looked and
the side of the car i just completed. I wipe the entire side down with quick shine to remove all excess product.
the 1/4 panel was clearly better in shine.
I have to say that when it comes to cutting cream Clearkotes product worked very well and saved me time
