Hello everyone? Hope everybody had a good weekend and safe one at that! Well, I placed an order with Dwayne @ PAC and just wanted to get some opinions on things. For one my car is a metallic silver, and for two this is what I purchased:
SSR2.5
SSR1
UPC
UPP
UGE
LC 6" Orange Pad and Backing Plate
LC 6" Black Pad
LC 6" White Pad x 3
My paint is in pretty good shape, I do see some surface scratches and such on my paint from sertain angels but not enough to say it is horrible. I already clayed the car, put adams revive+ scratch removal via pc, and then the butter wax. The results were ok for someone who wants to take away the look of the metallic because that's what it did. I did like the ease of use of the Revive, Scratch Removal, and Butter Wax, but I don't think I will be purchasing anything but their polishing towels, waffle weave drying towels, detail spray, and the VRT in the future. Just didn't like the look over all it gave my car. That being said. Like I said the paint is in pretty good condition but I think I will clay again cause the sandwhich bag let me know there were other things there that I didn't get off. This is the process I was thinking and everything came from DC members by the way!

SSR2.5 via PC with LC 6" Orange Pad (Speed setting between 5-6)
SSR1 via PC with LC 6" White Polishing Pad (Speed setting between 5-6)
UPC via PC with LC 6" Polishing Pad (Speed setting between 4-6) Not sure yet
UPP via PC with LC 6" Black Pad (Speed setting between 3-4)
I want my steps to be in order of course but the main question I have is making sure I am using the UPC in the correct order or should I do it before the SSR? I also had a question about pad. Is the Yellow pad more aggressive than the orange and should I think about purchasing it later on for cars that are in worse shape? Would be nice to land a couple detail jobs and get some of my money back! With some practice of course. Or am I ok with the Orange pad? And, what do you guys apply your sealers with? Black pad or Red pad? I ordered the black one and want to know if the red pad would be worth purchasing down the road? Thanks in advance guys!
