Autozone *Clearance*

I don't know if this is the right spot if not mods please move it. I read on autopia that autozone was selling Meg's #26 Hi Tech yellow wax for 99 cents. Well this morning I went to my local store and sure enough 99 cents per tube to bad they only had that one :(. They are still priced at 4.99 but ring up for 0.99 cents. Good luck ya'll
 
I bought three bottles of Rich Aloe Leather Conditioner for 99 cents each. They had one #26 yellow paste as well... naturally, I had to snag that as well. ;)

Yes, it's true...I feel like I just stole something from that store...I went to my local Auto Zone and bought the following (everything they had of each) for 99 cents:

(2 bottles) Turtle Wax 2001 Super Protectant (Flourescent Green Bottle)
(2 bottles) Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner
(3) Meguiars #26 (Hi Tech Yellow Wax) paste

TOTAL COST: $7.45 (including tax)

I asked the salesman why such a low price on these and he said they were closing out all the products...Didn't mention anything about them going out of business.

Now, don't want to steal the thread, but what is everyone's impression of Meguiars #26? Good Stuff? I have never used it -- Is it any different than the Gold Class paste?

#26 is not a cleaner wax like Gold Class, it provides great depth on dark colors such as red and black. The reason it may be going on clearance is because I think Meguiar's is changing all of their wax packaging to the large-opening tin can, much like NXT paste wax.
 
Correct I've heard meg's #26 is going to a tin instead of a plastic tub. I have also read is gives a great "wet look" and depth on dark colors but hell for 99 cents you can't go wrong.

:doh :angry Must go harass AZ people tomorrow. They are in for alot of bar coding! NC Does have deals grrr
 
CRAP.....I looked for these bargains at my local Autozones and came up with NADA. It was definitely worth a try!
 
Thinking that I may have to return to AZ tomorrow. :)

I just bought out the one closest to me, but there are almost a dozen others close by too.


Snagged 3 bottles of Prestone Tire Shine and a bottle of Prestone Wax.

$4 and change after tax.


Sad thing is, they had about 8 containers of #26 marked at $4.99, and as I really do not need any more LSP's - and didn't realize they were in fact .99 - I did not buy any. :(

I just got back from 2 AZ and they are all out of Meg's #26 :( but they are now both out of Meg's Gold class leather cleaner and conditioner ( 3 each) :D.
 
WYTSTANG - hope you didn't go to the one down on Dixie and 176th, I was there yesterday and bought the only can of #26 left on the shelf:eek Did you stop at TARGET for the .98 cent IG?
 
I went to the one across the Harley place in Perine so it WAS YOU :(. I didn't know Taaget had a sell maybe later Today or tomorrow I'll check it out.
 
WYT, Target aka Taaget (are you from Bohstahn?:lol) has the IG on clearance, doesn't have the sale price indicating it, but they ring up at.98 cents. Not sure if they have any left though, the cashier asked me if there were any left at the time she rang me out - said "yes." They're on the top shelf, at least they were when I was there.

Yes, I am the guilty party, twas I who got the only can of the MEGS, got the last PRESTONE WAX too:) I only went there because JOY said they carry the CM and when I called they said they did not. Was down that way (BIG LOTS) and saw it and stopped in - funny, NEVER noticed AZ before and have passed it a trillion times. Get there, they have the CM - now let's just see how long it takes me to try it!:lol
 
lol no not from Bohstahn born and raised here. Atleast some one from here got it so I know some one worthy took it ;)
 
I swung by my local AZ and of course the good stuff (#26 Tech Wax) is gone. All that's left are Black Magic products and those have been on clearance everywhere. I would rather use water than use Black Magic detailer spray.
 
I hit three AZ stores today, got megs #26, son of a gun protectant
and the last can of "Stoners Trim Shine". I think every store carry's
different products, so you never know what's going to be on sale.
.99 cents each !!!!
