Hey yall, its been forever since I have done a proper write-up and this one isnt going to be the end all, be all write up by any means but I thought you might enjoy this car, because I certainly did.
Last weekend I had a Mini GP in for a minor surface correction detail topped with infinity coating.

The car wasn't overly dirty, but I first started by cleaning the wheels. For this I used Sonax then agitated with an array of brushes.

After discussions with the owner, we decided to remove some of the side graphics but leave the GP on the side. I think it looks so much more subtle. What do yall think? For this I pretreated with tarX adhesive remover then removed the adhesive marks with tarX also.

I then began the washing process. I used born to be mild through a foam lance.

Using the two bucket method (with gritguards), Supernatural wash concentrate, and a wookie fist I worked my way around the car.

Here is the car after the car was clayed using a mild clay bar. The car is relatively new and has been clayed recently so very few contaminants remained although I did find some that were missed.

Here are a few shots of the paint defects (holograms and minor swirls):

I then brought the car inside and inspected the paint and tried a couple different polishes and pads.
There were a few deeper RIDS I chased a stepped up to the place against.

I jumped around a little bit with my process depending on defects on different panels, but mostly the paint was done with Menzerna Intensive Polish on a polishing pad, then jeweled down with M205 finishing polish on a finishing pad. Oh and this was done with a rupes
:buffer:... I love my new machine! This thing is cool!

After IP:

I have found the pillars of the Mini's to be very soft and therefor very susceptible to scratches. Apologies for the bad pictures, I still have trouble with my camera.

The car was then wiped down with an IPA mixture.

following the wipedown, the paint was treated with Dodo Infinity coating.

The glass was then coated with G-technic.

Door Sills were treated with Wekstatt Prime.

Interior cleaned then protected with 303.

Leather Masters collection used.

Wheels were treated with Dodo wheel coating and tires coated with a great water based rubber treatment.

After the Infinity had cured fully I through on a coat of Dodo Supernatural to give the paint that glow and the silky smooth feel.
Some after photos:

Hope this write up was nearly as enjoyable to read as it was to do!
Soon I should have a really well done write up. Im bringing along a buddy who's a professional photographer to a detail!
Here is a couple pictures of other cars I have recently done.
