Hi Guys

It finally decided to snow here in London England so i got this quick shot of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection doing its thing this morning.

It has excellent beading but most of all it gives paint a vibrant, gloss reflective finish. Not much depth is provided so i guess thats the trade off. I applied Super Resin Polish beneth 2 coats of EGP. This is first day of good light since i applied at the weekend!!

Its a 1998 with with clearcoat, FK1 (dont have the bottle to hand) on the plastic's and excellent beading from Autoglym Glass Polish. Tyres have PB B&B, hub caps also wearing SRP+EGP.

Geoff that car is certainly looking very tidy under the snow cover been an AG man myself now for 9 years gonna try some different top coats this year.

What is clearcote FK1 and how durable is it as i normally use AG bumper care topped of with AG bumper black spray and then buffed but it will dry out in the sun after a while.

Hi!!

Thanks for the kind words, when i said "clearcoat" i just meant the paint had clearcoat.

Oh but the FK1 product i used was: Product 108 Top Kote Poly Protectant. I always used the green Autoglym stuff and and found that worked great, i just think curiosity makes you want to change sometimes. I know you can get some of these products that seem to fade quite soon. I thought the 108 would do the same but it seems to have worked out a treat when i used it on other cars so im hoping this will do the same.

Its made a company called Finish Kare, you have to get there sample kit online from the USA. 2180 is good so is the Pink Wax.

I intend to top the EGP with Nattys orig. when the weather improves, this gives it some real wetness!!

Where do u live????? I'm in South Kensington and around here we only received like 2 cm of snow, which subsequently melted within the hour....!

Must be north london?

Hi

Yeah im Essex on the N.London Border. We got lots, it was all reflecting off the car so it gave this green foil type look!!
