I can't seem to find out how I can have a subscription set to threads i post in. Is that function available at this forum or does it take a manual visit to the 'thread tools' button at the top?

Click on "User CP" to open your User Control Panel & scroll down to "Messaging & Notification". In the second section "Default Thread Subscription Mode" scroll through the options to select "Instant email notification". Then scroll down & click "Save Changes" & you should be set. 
PS: Be sure that you have Receive Email from Administrators enabled in the section above & that you have given a valid e-mail address.

Go to your user cp then on the left there is edit options...about half way down the page you will see it

LOL..thanks guys! I've been looking but just couldn't find it for some reason :ass
