2013 Audi S8 and 2011 Porsche Boxster. The owner recently did the factory pick-up on the S8 so I wasn't sure what to expect but it appears everyone got the message to keep their hands off the car because it was in great shape. Porsche was as well, its a weekend toy so it isn't driven much.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA polisher

Optimum Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

2005 Porsche Carrera Turbo S. Also has the GT3 suspension. Pretty cool car! Owner recently picked it up from a dealer in Illinois and wanted the car brought up to the level it deserves. Had light to moderate spider swirls, some holograms on the driver's door. Hard to pick up swirls on a white car with the sun peaking out here and there (didn't full clear up until I had finished) so only a couple shots actually showed anything:

After Meguiars M100:

Full process:

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Meguiars M100 using an Optimum MF cutting pad and my Rupes 21 DA

Optimum Hyper Polish mixed 50/50 with Optimum G-P-S and an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21

Optimum Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

Why mix OHP and G-P-S? M100 was sticking a bit to the paint, G-P-S is very effective at removing said residue but felt the step needed a touch more cut following M100 so I used a spritz of OHP as well. Worked very well, excellent finish and the added slickness made Opti-Seal easier to use.

2002 Honda Accord and 2006 Scion TC. The Honda was being cleaned up to sell, the Scion as a maintenance detail. The Honda was in really rough shape and being white, had single stage paint. Someone had detailed it in the past and left light to moderate rotary swirls over most of it. Chocolate milk spilled all over the back seat of the Accord and in the rear cupholder in the Scion. Pretty gross!

Used a lot of Optimum Power Clean on the interior! PC brush attachment and my Meguiars G110 along with OPC on the floor mats and even that was a struggle...

The bottom seat cushion on the Accord was scheduled to be redyed the next day so the main concern was getting it clean enough to be dyed. Good thing too, the chocolate milk had pretty much eaten away the color of the leather where it had collected.

Swirled single stage paint. Fun.

After JUST Optimum G-P-S:

Full process:

ONR wash, Opti-Clay bar

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

3D Trim Protectant on exterior trim

Woolite/water at 20:1 dilution to clean leather

Optimum Power Clean at 3:1 dilution to clean mats and chocolate milk spills

3D Carpet Shampoo to clean carpets

Optimum Protectant Plus to dress vinyl

Meguiars Gold Class for leather to dress leather

Same process for the Scion, minus the need to condition any leather

Always a treat reading your write-ups. That S8....just wow. I love the cocktail used on the Porsche.

Thanks! Just kind of playing around on the Porsche to see what would work best since we were doing two polishing steps .

Excellent work as always Scott! For a change, you posted a bunch of light colored cars.

What size pads do you use on the Rupes?

I did two black cars today... :lol

I mostly use 6.25-7" pads with the 6" backing plate and 5.25-6.25" pads with the 5" backing plate.

Thanks Jimmie!

BTW, noticed the owner of the Accord has listed it for sale:

2002 Honda Accord EX V6 Super clean....

Nice work as always guys! Love the S8, got a S10 coming myself. I got to get onboard with this Rupes thing! Hopefully the Accord owner remembers you when he gets "Super Clean" value!

S8 is pretty nice, that's for sure. Owner of the Accord asked me what he thought he should price it at. I told him $6500, he had planned on asking $5400, ad is for $6100. Pretty solid car other than that back seat, rebuild transmission nearly new tires/brakes, timing belt and water pump were done on time, etc.

You the magician turning car around with yr magical touch

Keep them coming

Thanks!
