2013 Audi A6. Owner recently purchased this CPO A6 and wanted it properly polished and protected. Honestly, the dealer didn't do a bad job, no rotary swirls at least. Just some minor marring and the B pillars (which are made of the softest plastic on earth) were swirled up.

ONR wash

Opti-Clay (yellow)

Rupes Zephir compound using a blue Rupes MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA for spot correction

Rupes Keramik Gloss using an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA whole car

Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

Got the tips after the pictures, forgot to retake 'em.

2008 Lexus IS350. I've detailed this one a few times, just got back from the body shop, some minor orange peel issues on one side, light rotary swirls on the other. But the color match was spot on.

ONR wash

Opti-Raser Pink to spot clay

Rupes 2000 grit disc/3000 grit disc using Rupes 21 DA on orange peel

Rupes Zephir compound with a Rupes blue MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA on wet sanded areas and rotary swirls

Optimum Hyper Polish with an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes 21

Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

No before/after shots, was under the gun on this one, owner had to leave for work by 2 pm sharp (finished at 1:50 pm) so no time to stop and take pics.

2013 Toyota Tacoma. Owner contacted me about a month ago to have his Tacoma properly protected with Optimum Coating. We were finally able to coordinate out schedules so we could get the Tacoma done. Owner said it was in good shape and he was right, very minimal marring or swirling. Did need quite a bit of claying on the horizontal surfaces.

Man Scott...you make silver shine! I can't wait for better weather to get going on my truck. It's about 12 out but we did miss a big snow storm.

Nice Scott., Which would you rather have? The Audi or the Lexus?

I'd rather have the Lexus, the A6 is a bit nicer but Audi reliability isn't great.

We dodged a bullet here in north Arlington with Sunday's sleet/freezing rain storm. Just north of us got pounded, Dallas north got a lot more too. But the cold was horrible, it was 79 Saturday, by 4 pm Sunday it was in the low 20s. With tomorrow morning's freeze (already down to 27 at 9 pm), we will have had the 6th most freezes in a winter.

NIce work guys! Rupes pads have better cut and finish than MF pads?

The Rupes MF pads have a much firmer backing than the Optimum or Meguiars pads, gives them more cut. Zephir and the blue (aggressive) Rupes MF pad cuts very fast but will haze soft paint up pretty good.

Great job Scott! Appreciate your feedback on the Rupes MF pads. Been interested but not willing to pull the trigger before I heard from someone experienced in them.
