Applied AquaPel on my car to make it better on the windshield, now it chatters, what would I use to remove it? I want to just use Rain-X instead which I've had success with.

Find yourself a set of PIAA Super Silicone blades or inserts. I bet you'll be very happy with them with or without aquapel or RainX. My wipers were the noisiest I have ever heard. I tried everything, the dealer tried everything up to the point they were ready to replace the windshield (under warranty). Before that, I bought a set of the PIAAs and not a squeak, not a chatter, nothing since. They also clear the windshield as good if not better than anything else I've had and, it's been almost three years and I have no even started to think about replacing them. Still quiet, still clear as good as new.

I found the same question on another forum, so I email Aquapel tech support. I also ask them about using IPA as a prep to clean the glass prior to Aquapel application.

It is okay to clean the windshield with isopropyl alcohol first. Aquapel is a chemical bond with glass so the cleaner the windshield is the better the bond. As far as removing it, you can use a product called Bon Ami and that will take it off.

Get some BON-AMI from your grocery store. Make a paste by place it on a clean towel then add a touch off water. Scrub windshield and it will come out smooth and clean and will not scratch the glass.

I'll try everything on the books and see. Weird thing is only one side of the wipers is chattering.

It's your wiper arm alignment that's causing this...the arm/blade assembly is not "square" against the glass.

Yeah, these potions that folks are mentioning aren't going to touch the Aquapel. You'll need something abrasive to remove it.

Bon-Ami is abrasive. It will cut thru Aquapel to leave a fresh finish
