This is my dad's car. It's garage kept and not driven much, but the clearcoat is extremely soft and marring is tough to avoid. Because the clear is soft and the swirling wasn't very deep, I decided to go light on the polishing. However, 106FF didn't want to cooperate for some reason so I had to get a little creative. The process was:

Wash:

-Wheels w/ P21S gel

-Tires/Wells w/ Zep Degreaser 4:1

-Foam w/ Pinnacle Shampoo in Gilmour gun

-Wash w/ Dawn and Shmitt

-Dry w/ Cobra waffle weave and compressed air

-Spot clay w/ Sonus Green (very little contamination)

-Clay wheels w/ Mother's Yellow clay

-Clean wax residue from clear bra edges w/ IPA and q-tips

Correction:

-106FF (80%) and Clearkote RMG (20%) mix on LC CCS White (6.5" and 4") @ 1600rpm

-Clearkote Pink Moose on LC CCS Grey @ 1000rpm

Finishing:

-Clearkote CMW by hand

-CG Jetseal109 on wheels

-CG Silk Shine on tires

-CG VRG on lower moldings/windshield cowl

Interior (pretty clean to begin with, no pics):

-Vacuum

-Dash/trim w/ Megs QID

-Windows w/ IG and white Cobra waffle weave

Before (P21S gel dwelling on wheels):

Foamed:

Taped off for polishing, except for the front bumper which required a LOT of taping around clear bra edges:

And done, after about 14 hours of work over 2 days. It was dark and raining so no sun pics but i used the flash:

Thanks :) The tracks are VIR and Summit Point. I have the same stickers on my car (plus a couple others).
