Hey Guys, I know this review is a lot later than many, but I definitely wanted to test out these products on several vehicles before I gave my honest opinion on all of them.
Before I give my opinion of HD Speed(for time sake I will now refer to HD speed as HDS) you must all know that when I look at AIO I consider them a one step product. Thomas did an amazing job on the review of HDS and did a multiple steps in order to receive a beauty of a finish.Thomas Dekany Review In my eyes though an AIO is simply that, a product that is designed to do what I consider a "quick" detail. I generally never use them and the only ones I have purchased have been earlier in my hobby days when I truly believed there were products that did EVERYTHING! That being said, when using HDS I simply used a green polishing pad(HD's) to judge this product.
Placing it against the products that I already own the test was
Optimum's Poli Seal
HDS
Klasse AIO
The final consensus on all three products were based on
Correction ability
cleaning ability
ease of use
protection(longevity)
looks
Optimum poli-seal
Correction ability-2/5
cleaning ability-2/5
ease of use-5/5
protection(longevity)-3/5
looks-3/5
Poli-seal is definitely not the greatest of products, it has minor correcting abilities and has average looks at best.
Klasse AIO
Correction ability-1/5
cleaning ability-4/5
ease of use-5/5
protection(longevity)-3/5
looks-4/5
Klasse should not be used if you are looking at having a minor polish, it definitely has minor to zero correction capabilities. The reason why I do like klasse though, is the ability to clean cloudy paint and the ease of use. There have been many occasions where I just hand apply klasse AIO and buff off with ease.
HDS
Correction ability-4/5
cleaning ability-2/5
ease of use-4/5
protection(longevity)-2/5
looks-4/5
Unlike Klasse, HDS doesn't have very good cleaning abilities, but what it does have is minor correction capabilities. Compared to the other two, HDS is able to correct minor swirls and scratches. Even with a polishing pad it is able to do minor corrections for a speedy detail.
Forgot to take a picture of the taped off areas! This is what it looked like after I was done using all 3 products. As you can see, you can notice the difference with each product, the taped off sections definitely are visible
If you didn't notice I gave all 3 a protection of 2/5. I washed my vehicle two weeks later (road trip and work) and all 3 no longer seemed to have any beading at all. That's not surprising because simply put I have never seen a product be amazing at everything. An AIO can simply do everything, but a dedicated polish, sealant, cleaner will definitely beat any of these products. That being said though, I do recommend Speed especially if you are new to detailing and don't want to spend a ton right off the bat, but to top it off with a dedicated sealant like HD poxy in order for better longevity.
This mercedes was detailed with Speed, Poxy, and then a coat of 476 for extra protection.
