Aston Martin Vantage

Detailed this one on June 1st, he'd put some miles on it this summer so it was ready for another detail. After I got the swirls out of it, he was afraid to let anyone else touch it and he hadn't had time to clean it himself so it had nearly 3 months of dirt, grime, brake dust, etc to contend with. But once we got it clean, the paint was still very smooth and swirl free.

ONR wash

Optimum Power Clean at 3:1 dilution followed by an ONR wash to clean the wheels

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum microfiber cutting pad and my PC 7424 XP on speed 5

Optimum Opti-Seal to protect the paint

Armor All on the tires/fenderwells.

Still swirl free!

Beautiful work! I was followed by one of those on the highway for several miles the other day... not often that I get to see a $200K car in my rear view mirror.

Looks great Scott! Gotta love customers scared to wash there cars! Makes you enjoy going back again to keep it perfect!

Thanks, Kody, Tim and Charles. :)

I've got a customer not too far from him whose cars I clean every 3rd Monday, the Vantage owner and I talked about me taking car of his car then as well since its on the way back home for me. That way it will get regularly cleaned.

Nice job Scott!!!!

how is durabilty of optiseal? 2-3 months, or less?

A lot more than 2-3 months here. This one was beading very well still, even after almost 3 months of grime had accumulated on it. The new version is more durable, that's what I used on it the last time.

Looks awesome Scott. I may have to try the latest version of Opti Seal. I love it but durability here sucks because it rains so much.

Scott,

Great as always! I was VERY fortunate to get a 10 car- Aston Martin- gig in Santa Barbara last week. They were on their way to Pebble Beach and stopped at a local hotel for the night. Exterior washes with little vac. Turned out to be a profitable experience and the resort now wants to talk with me about future treatments for their guests!

They were all new cars- dealer principal was there with their best clients. I gave them Joe's information in hopes that they would call him while at Pebble, but he looked busy with another manufacturer.. LOL!
