Anyone else catch the farce? - first song I looked at my roomate and asked "is she lip syncing?" second song..I got my answer...
 
it's too bad - I watched her show on MTV and she went through a lot to get her album out - she even wrote or co-wrote a lot of her own songs. Word is she was having voice issues again (in her series she had to stop talking to let her voice heal). If it was that bad she should have just cancelled. Her album was #1 for several weeks, she's had two top ten singles and the only thing she will be remembered for is the girl who got caught lip syncing on SNL.
 
Live lip sync? Sorta like using baby oil on the dashboard or Nu Finish for a once a year shine...good intentions but something else has got to be better.....hehehehehe :hah :hah :hah :hah
 
Take it easy on my girl. She is a sweetheart and I still support her. She rocks and she is smooth with The Fuzz.

What's really funny is he has a "talent" pass round his neck, it should be round the "do" since all the talent is in the mullet!

(p.s. Fuzz likes her becuase she dyed her hair brown and got a "gullet" a girl mullet!
 
They really get into sematics with this topic - a "performance" can and usually does include lip synciing with the usual excuse " XXX has a lot of complicated dance moves and it's hard to sing and twirl so he/she twirls. It's a performance of the song..."

a live performance also falls into this catagory. You need to look for or hear the words "singing live..."

I like Ashlee a lot (I would argue with the fuzz that she rocks - Cortney Love rocks - Ashlee is a santized Cortney in the vein of Avril Levine..thinks she's all rock then poses on 17 magazine with N'Sync :lol ...) Rock is still hard drinkin, hard durgs, wacking people on the head with guitars and showing your boobs in pictures with fans..
 
If she would just stop trying so hard to be her sister then she would be cooler. I don't think she'll always be remembered as "Ashlee Simpson: The girl who got caught lip syncing on SNL." I think she will be remembered as "The sister of Jessica Simpson: The girl who got caught lip syncing on SNL." :lmfao She better hope her sister doesn't put a hit out on her for soiling the family name. :lol

And the reason I'm wearing a talent pass is because no matter where I go it seems that I am the talent. :naughty
 
2 girls (who happen to be sisters) with questionable "talent". Based on their apparent successes in record sales...proves that the "cute factor" will overcome the talent (or lack thereof) these days. Hey, I'll throw Brittnay Spears (sp?) under the same bus, along with a plethora of other no talent but great marketing musical "artists" who appear on today's airwaves. :hurl

Oh and didn't she just tell her "fans" that lip synching "just wasn't her"? I've got a stockpile of bridges and ocean front properties to sell :)
