Don't ever drop your clay
Yet another proof that I have THE worst luck when it comes to weather. It seems that every time I wash or detail my car, Mother Nature is against me.



I washed my car yesterday, put another coat of wax and today decided to go take some pictures. All day was sunny with tiny clouds passing by every now and then. When I got to the first intersection the sky just opened up :mad I said to myself "Screw it, I'm going anyway".



Well, in the end I took some pictures but that's not what I had in mind.

A few minutes later it was nice again but the car was dirty enough that I didn't want to take any close-ups.

Oops. So if a TL is basically a pimped out Accord, is a TSX a pimped out Civic? May be a dumb question, but just wondering if they share the platforms.

It really isnt that simple. The TSXs are actually the Accord Type R's from Europe and Asia. Calling the TSX a Civic is like calling a Lexus GS430 a Toyota Corolla.

I know exactly how you feel too. We get those hit and miss showers here too.



BTW, love the trash can you have mounted on the back of your car! ;)
 
Nice pics....if it can make you feel any better...it was sunny with big blueskies yestarday morning. so i go outside at 7:30 and give my Max a good wash and then hit it with Z6. It was just gleaming. :cool:



So I do a bit of yard work and then get ready to run a few errands. As i'm backing out of the laneway and my wheels touch the street these big grey clouds roll in and the sky opens up and it starts to rain. :angry





I used every swear word i know and probably invented a couple :angry :o





I pick up my cell phone to call my wife who was out shopping...she started laughing and told me she was just thinking of me and my shiny car when she saw the rain and knew it was me calling to vent when she heard the phone :sosad





We had a good laugh at my expense and then i went on my way....i had a new perspective, but i was still cursing the clouds a little.....

You should submit your 3rd pic to the Annual Photo Contest at Acura...



If they don't have one, then your picture should get them thinking about starting one!

Scott: Yeah, I know it spoils the picture. When I noticed it was too late. But I'll go back one day when I'm 150% sure that it won't rain and take good pictures then.
