2011 Saab 9.5, sat on a dealer's lot for about a year or so. Plastic was on the horizontal surfaces, nothing on the sides. Not sure what they ran it through to clean it, but whatever it was trashed the sides bad. Horizontal surfaces also had swirls but not as bad. However, there was a lot of adhesive still stuck to the paint.

Meguiars #105 using a 5" Meguiars microfiber cutting pad and PC 7424 XP (most areas took 2-3 times with #105)-5-6 hours total just compounding
Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and PC
