Are these steamers worth the money?

This one will do the job. It will handle most light duty chores but you will be refilling it frequently. You will have to let it cool down before refilling it again which is how most inexpensive steamers are. But for the price, it's worth a shot. If you don't like it, you won't be out that much.
 
I bought one a while back. Works great. I only do my/family/friends cars so it's a perfect little unit for that.



If I was using it daily in a professional sense, then I would step up to a commercial model.



IMHO.
 
Alright, guys. Thanks for the opinions... I've been reading around, and I think I'm going to give this one a shot. It should work just fine for what I'm going to use it for :) Just placed a bid on one...

Yeah, I'm 17, and still at home of course, so I am gonna try to pull this off as a "mother's day gift", so maybe dad will pay for half of it. LOL

smooth!! one thing i have learned, and it mostly applies to when you get married and your wife is a mother, never buy things that a woman will use to do work if you wanna be happy!! it also goes for your mom, buy her something for her, not to use when she does work for the house or for you. she will know right away, moms have that power, i think its called a ******** detector gene?? LOL

j/k, man. Nice buy... I can't wait to get mine in :D Should make cleaning up certain areas a LOT easier... I plan to take the front seats out of my truck next weekend and go to work on some stains that I can't reach with the seats in :dance
 
Can't wait for Father's Day! I did a 1999 4Runner that was NASTY!!! last Saturday, another one like that and I'll buy it myself.
 
for the price and the job at hand it should work, not sure if it has a tool oyu can use to clean the headliner if you choose to do so but for cleaning out door jambs and the engine its plenty.
