Aquawax = Nanowax ???

USed aquawax yesterday for the first time, and I swear it is the exact same product as Eagle One Spray Nanowax. Smells the same, feels the same, applies the same, looks the same....

Anyone else experience this or am I going out of my mind? Don't get me wrong - its great stuff, but I never had a complaint with the Nanowax Spray either.......

I never used EO Nanowax, so I cant comment on it. Other said is smell like Zaino Z-8 too :confused: But AW is good stuff :)

Nanowax is definitely not the same...lacks the durability of AW, IMO. The nanowax is carnauba based as well, whereas AW is polymer...

yeah plenty of threads have been started suggesting the similarities of these two products, they do smell the same and apply the same, thats about it though.

Last week when that person said that, myself and another autopian went into the garage and smelled both...They dont smell anything alike at all...We were baffled.

I agree on that one. So many people want to judge the products by smell and application. If that was the case almost all paste waxes would be "the same".

I'm not stating that they are definitively the same product - merely bringing up the strange similarity between them that cannot be denied. I was wondering if others had this experience.

My first impression of Aquawax is very good, but I'm certainly not "blown away" by it.

AW simply cant be beat for the price, period. $5 for a bottle, I use the stuff liberally, initially spraying my waffle weave before drying, I find it to glide better. I even use it on interior plastics, nav screens, windows, wood, I mean EVERYTHING. However, I looove Z8, its just a touch expensive so I use it veery sparingly.

No, I would not use it on that, or my wood, or my other interior parts of the car. The product is not made for that, and I dont want something to go wrong and look back and say "in hindsight, that might not have been a good idea." Nav screen should be cleaned with water or LCD solution.

Assertion taken, my nav is touch screen and now it is soo easy to clean and oil seems to either not show up as much or is repelled. Caveat, if anyone doesn't think it's a good idea, then....you shouldn't do it.

I have used AW on Glass...oak furniture...Nav screens...marble counter tops...corian...LCD tv screens...over a year and not one problem....also Fast Clean and shine to clean them...just like FK 425 was tanted as a TV screen cleaner and laptop LCD cleaner...same thing...

We clean the electronics screens on the boat with either AW or FC&S all the time and they look and stay spotless...

I'd say it is just fine for LCD's...also, as far as using it on the interior...I wouldn't worry. I'd venture to guess it would be great. Good protection on pretty much anything. As long as you can use it on exterior plastics, I am sure it is fine on interior as well.
