Aquapel problems - Is this normal?

The last couple of days have given me the first opportunity to put my recently applied Aquapel to the test. While it beads and repels water nicely, the wipers squeak badly when passing over the windshield - it's mostly noticeable when driving at city speeds.



I can't imagine that this is normal - the wiper blades are <2 months old and it has hardly rained at all prior to this week. Application prep was QEW, IG, and 50/50 IPA, so I doubt there was anything on the glass. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions on how to fix it?
 
Applied Aquapel on about 50 cars, never had that problem before........ Your prep work sounds more than fine (and perhaps overkill!). Perhaps a bad batch?
