applying zymol titanium

some people have asked for this so here is a video i did of how to wax by hand. Its not great, i hope to get a better one soon but it should help some people for now.

Sorry for the poor shots, i dont have a tri-pod and I did this bymyself so it was hard to get it right.

Also i applogize for my voice. i was sick and i was loosing my voice.. well anyway here we go

I know its not great, and i hope to do a new video soon, but here is one for now

Nicely done, man, very nicely done. I like how you "extend" the wax... using your hand to spread it from a thick area to a thin one. Makes for a thin, even layer. You obviously have alot of practice applying Estate Glazes!

thanks supeebee, i have some practice. I wouldnt see alot. I have used almost a full jar of titanium, some concours (maybe 4 or 5 times) and some victoria wax. I guees you just learn how to use it out of necesity. But thanks thats means alot

i dont find it hard to get off my hands. Others have commented however i find if i wash my hadn with a normal bar of soap it comes off.. so i dont find i have an issue

i guees any wax could be applied that way, there isnthing stoping you.

some manufactures recomend it for there waxes such as

vicotria wax

zymol estate glazes

swissvax- a few, but not all

i dont know of any others, perhaps someone else can touch on this

no u can not apply 476 via hand

now imnot one to argue, but i would assume it could be done. There shouldnt be an ill effect, well maybe a pita to buff off, but i dont see a reason other then that.

Just my 2 cents though

So if it could be done, it probably wouldn't be worth it. I was just curious because it looked like a quick process that worked well.

Hi!!

Top video, thanks for sharing.

My5ABaby, in relation to the process being quick, it is when you know what you are doing!! I have Destiny and first it was a littke awkard and complicated, when you have a feel for what your doing things do speed up though.

What's the paint look like up close right after you apply the wax by hand?

I'm trying to figure out whether I'm doing it right. On my black paint, I see "greasey" streaks, and then areas where it looks like nothing covers it although my hands went over it - should I get the grease streaks to cover everything?

If you've done it 100% correctly, you won't really see any streaks or finger marks. You should see a thin, even film of wax on the paint.

i will take a pic, and make a better video soon. But the wax should look smooth and thin (wellas thin as you an get it ). but yeah it should look just a little thicker then if you apply it via a foam applicator
