Applying Zaino With a PC

Might be a dumb question, can I apply Zaino Z2 with a PC ? The only UK supplier I can find refers to application by hand, no mention of the PC. :help:

sure but you'll end up using more product

I completely disagree, I use the PC and by hand at times and the PC absolutely uses less product because you can more easily spread it over a larger area.

For me I find I can apply it the thinnest, which is important with zaino, with the included applicators from zaino. The pc does spread product a long ways, but for me I find it works best by hand.

PC uses slightly more product but not much more. Majority of the time I just apply by hand but if the PC is already out from a previous polishing session, I just apply by PC.

That's been my experience, too. Also, I've found that using a 4" finishing pad (such as the Sonus SFX-3 blue pad) uses even less Zaino . . . the smaller pad gets "primed" more quickly, and after the first panel or two, it only takes a few dots of Z to do the next section.

In my application of Zaino products I seemed to use more with the PC than by hand. But upon further analysis I found that if I put less product on the pad the amount seemed to lessen and the area covered enlarged. :doh DOH!!!

Another thing that I have started doing is putting a small amount of product on the paint surface that I intend to cover rather than the pad. This is only after the pad is full primed with a spritz of Z6 and initial amount applied directly to the pad. Less is more when it comes to Zaino. I know that doing this has sharply reduced my product useage

My thinking is that a 6 inch pad will soak up more product than a thinner 3 inch hand applicator. A 4 inch pad by PC would probably be an ideal way to apply it.
