Nov 3, 2005 #1 S s2skimon New member how many of you apply pre sealants, and sealants with your rotary..? i'm about to pick up the white, black and possibly the new red pad (all 7.5") from properautocare. is the red that much better than black ? from their description i can't see any improvement ? your thoughts ?

Nov 4, 2005 #2 A Accumulator Well-known member I don't use the rotary for this myself, but if you want to try it use a low speed and be careful not to overwork the products. No idea about the pads.

Nov 5, 2005 #3 salty Active member I don't unless i finish a 2 step with something like Hi-Temp PPG. I find most sealants easier with an orbital or by hand. I have only used the white pad, so i can not comment.

Nov 6, 2005 #5 W White95Max New member I wouldn't use the rotary for applying sealants. The sealants I use (UPP and WG) are so easy to apply anyway, I get no benefit from applying by machine, and it wastes a lot more product.
