Applying interior dressing with mf apps?

zesty-man

how do ya like it?
today hawaiianelement came over to my house and detailed my BMW's interior which was really dirty. i noticed that he was using a mf applicator to apply his 4* leather cleaner thing, so i tried applying VRT with the mf app vs the sponge that it came with. i felt that the mf app. gave a more even layer of VRT. becuase interior dressing rely on how even you spread it, i felt it was really beneficial to use it... im probably gonna be using it from now on. it was really nice. you guys should give it a try........ i personally liked using the mf app. over a mf/terry/yellow foam/sponge.

have any of you guys tried applying interior dressing like natural look or VRT with mf applicators?

I've been using poorboy's mf applicator for ALL interior dressing, leather, dash etc ;) yea , I find they give a more even application than using foam app

I use, and prefer, MF applicators for applying interior dressings (PB's Natural Look and 4* Leather Conditioner just recently) as well.

Hey Zesty , Nice meeting you today and trying out different prods./methods. I do like that interior wax spray . What was it called again? LOoks like a real timw saver with great results. Take care of that sweet bimmer .

Hey Hawaiian, glad you liked In and Out. That stuff really is a time saver, and it's not a bit greasy like the others you might have used or seen before.

I do have to agree with Anthony on this one though, and that is one of the reasons why we stayed with foam. The foam does have a little bit of a learning curve, but we also have found that you have vary the end shine results more effectively with foam (i.e. work it in longer for a matte finish and vice versa).

However, one benefit that I have personally seen when using VRT and a microfiber applicator is that it cleans the dash, doors, steering wheel, etc better than foam does. VRT does have mild cleaners into it making it a great one step maintenance cleaning/protectant.
